A few months ago I made a commitment to myself to deal with some of my issues from the past. I know I have trust issues and I really do want to learn how to learn how to trust again and to forgive. But this journey has been so much more difficult than I thought it would be. I am noticing so many changes in my life… friendships ending, meeting new people, finding new things out about myself….my life seems full of drama and change – some good and bad – is now the right time to heal…sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision…It seems like since I made my decision all hell has broken loose! Prophetess Cindy I really need some spiritual insight…Is this the right time in my life to heal and deal with this or are the trials I’m going through now a sign that I’m on the wrong path?
God is our alpha and our omega. Our beginning, our ending and everything that falls in between. Nothing that we have or will experience is a surprise to God. God’s timing is and will always be exceptional. We obtain certain tools (such as trust, patience, humility, endurance & forgiveness) only by experiencing certain situations and circumstances, which ultimately lead us to our pre-ordained destiny. If given the choice, most of us would not have chosen to go through any trial or test whatsoever. But God, He knows all about us and He knows what it will take for us to fulfill our destiny. He will never leave us nor forsake us!
It is God’s desire to set us free from all forms of bondage. He will honor your desire to be set free (also known as deliverance). We cannot be set free from issues that we are not willing to acknowledge we even have. Although our trials are to make us better and not bitter, our hearts are often hardened because of the trials we experience. God works inward changing our hearts. Forgiveness is key. If we don’t forgive others God won’t forgive us. We should hate the sin, but love the sinner. If you are a Child of God, the trials that you are going through are a sign that you are on the right path. The enemy will try to distract you and cause you to doubt. Don’t fall for the enemy’s tricks. If you are not a child of God, the enemy is deceiving and guiding you. You can give your life to Christ by praying the following prayer:
Dear God, I confess that I have said, done and thought wrong things. I am tired of doing things my way and living the way I have been living. Please forgive me for my sins. I believe Jesus was Your Son; He died on the Cross to save me and You raised Him from the dead three days later to live with You. I desire to change, please come into my heart, take away my sins, wash me clean and make me whole. I ask that you fill me with your precious Holy Spirit.
In Jesus Name Amen
- Romans 3:23 All Have sinned and come short of God’s glory.
- Romans 6:23 Because we sin we deserve death and hell; the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Romans 10:9-10 If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Losing friends, meeting new people, and learning more about ourselves is part of His plan. Some of our friends are toxic, so God replaces them with men and women who love Him. Meeting new people will allow us to broaden our horizons and gain new experiences. Learning more about ourselves helps us to move forward into our destiny. There is so much more to us than meets the human eye. We are created in His very likeness and image. God has Divine appoints scheduled for each of us, in which we can share His love and our testimony with others. Be sure to share your testimony!
